Lakefront Home Sites
Sites fronting Lake Blackridge are the most prominent and visible within the community. Because the houses are accessible by both boat and car, these homes have two important fronts. Lakefront sites also have the opportunity for individual boathouse and pier structures at the water’s edge. The three architectural styles illustrated on the architecture page are encouraged on Lakefront sites to maintain the appropriate overall feel.
Farm Estate Home Sites
Farm estate home sites face a street within Blackridge, but offer ample seclusion amid spacious, pastoral lawns. Farm estate houses may be designed in any of the approved architectural styles of the community. Because these lots will not be seen from the public road, ample latitude will be given to other architecture styles.
Riverfront Home Sites
The Cahaba River forms the winding southern boundary of Blackridge and thirty one rare sites line Blackridge’s own boulevard and face the Cahaba.
1 Acre Estates
These commodious homesites will be located off the water and across the street from the lakefront sites.
Amenities
Established by Signature Homes and designed by Dungan Nequette Architects, amenities at Blackridge include dockside piers at the water's edge, shared village greens and meadow preserves, lakeside pavillions, and measured fitness trails throughout the woodland property.
